AND PURPOSE The scope of this document is applicable for all work conducted on or from the PLBH, DBA, DSV and STB1 when alongside at the Bos Shelf Facility or at sea engaged in offshore activities with the exception of office environments or any other area that has been designated as a PPE free zone. It also applies to any site which is under the control of Saipem or where Saipem personnel are engaged in work activities. SA-SWZZZZ-HS-PRO-0704-000_C01 SHAH DENIZ 2 PROJECT PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) UNCONTROLLED COPY WHEN PRINTED Page 6 of 11 The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that suitable Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (hereinafter referred to as PPE) is available to protect every employee from any hazard which could cause injury or ill health. This procedure encompasses all equipment and clothing including breathing apparatus, respirators and survival suits.
