WEAKNESSES
The small proportion of academic degrees in the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship.
The small amount of participation in foreign seminars and business trips.
Insufficient provision of material and technical resources at RTTEMA study branches– the library stocks and computer equipment should be more abundant.
When the study programme Personnel Management is accredited, it will attract students not only in Riga but also other Academy’s study branches. Professional personnel specialists will work not only in Riga but all over Latvia. The work of the personality as an individual in raising the organisational efficiency will rank higher.
With the increase in the number of students the lecturers’ load increases, too. Hence, the possibility to attract professional and academically educated staff to full-time job in the programme arises.
